When 2025 rolled in, every vape company scrambled to claim the crown for the best prefilled kit, racing to fill the gap left by disposable vapes. And wouldn’t you know it? IVG (I Vape Great!) has been turning heads with their prefilled kits.
Today, we’re reviewing one of the recent releases – the SAVR. Will it impress me the way the PRO did, or will it feel like a cheaper alternative?

MIST’s Verdict
Review Summary: The IVG SAVR Prefilled Kits are excellent and a perfect device for disposable fans to wean off before the UK ban this summer.

Packaging and Labels
The IVG SAVR units arrive in small cardboard boxes that easily fit in a coat pocket.

- The front of the box shows a picture of the device in the centre, with the IVG logo above next to a British Union flag, which displays “Award Winning British Brand.” Beneath the picture of the device is the name of the specific flavour. Underneath everything is a TPD-compliant nicotine addiction warning.
- The top of the box shows the IVG SAVR logo and also mentions the flavour within.
- One side of the box features a tremendously helpful diagram showing exactly how to set the device up once you remove it from the box. There are written instructions, though it’s such a clear set of images that you likely won’t need to be able to read it.
- The other side of the box lists features such as battery life and puff expectancy and mentions “Refill Available Separately,” confirming that the IVG SAVR is not intended for disposable use. This side also features an authenticity hologram.
- The back of the box features e-liquid ingredients, health warnings, technical specs of the device, European Community Identification (ECID) numbers, and a final TPD health warning.
- The base of the box displays manufacturing addresses, batch numbers and a barcode for the product.
Opening the box, we find four components: the device, pod/tank, mouthpiece and user manual. The device is sealed in a plastic wrapper, and the mouthpiece and pod are sealed in blister packs.

Stickers cover the device’s airflow ports and the tank’s electrical connection points. Two rubber stoppers on the other end of the tank prevent leaks. The mouthpiece has a hard plastic guard on the base, revealing a final rubber stopper to be removed.
Whereas the IVG PRO, had a final instruction sticker attached to the device, the IVG SAVR device’s plastic wrap had the exact instructions printed onto it.
When unboxing, the mouthpiece will contain 2ml of e-liquid with another 4ml in the tank. This separation makes the IVG SAVR TPD compliant and legal for sale to those permitted to buy nicotine products.
Build Quality
Score: 4 out of 5

When I first used the IVG SAVR recently, it felt a little less robust than the PRO. However, both kits are made of plastic. The slight matte effect added to the PRO gave it a slightly metallic feel that was comforting to grip.
Small issue, however. Practically, the SAVR is way easier to grip and less unwieldy than the rather bulked-out PRO. Comparatively, I found the IVG SAVR felt far more like a traditional disposable vape in my hand. This could be a plus or minus to you, dear reader, so I’ll let you decide how you feel about that.
The SAVR device will be a colour that corresponds to the flavour within the mouthpiece and tank. It will have ‘IVG SAVR’ logos on one side and a QR code leading to assembly instructions on the other.
The assembly of the tank and mouthpiece is very simple. They click together satisfyingly. The mouthpiece/tank duo then slides into a hole on the top of the SAVR device and locks in place magnetically.
Being a buttonless device, you just puff to start using it.
I’m taking a point off of build quality because of two things they could have done: no airflow slider and no quickly-read battery charge indicator. The PRO’s digital battery readout spoiled me, but that visual battery indicator is very calming when you can’t remember if you charged it.
Those two issues aside, it’s an excellent build for the job it’s setting out to do.
Performance
Score: 4 out of 5

Smooth and easy! If you’ve ever used a disposable vape, the IVG SAVR is impossible to get confused by. There are no buttons, screens, menus, modes, or power adjustments.
But simplicity is a double-edged blade, no? A lack of confusing aspects also leads to a lack of exciting features! It would have been relatively simple for IVG to add one or two features to make the SAVR stand out.
Airflow control, a boost button or even an optional Eco mode. Any of these features would have resulted in me giving the SAVR a perfect score.
But 4-out-of-5 is still very good, and the IVG SAVR doesn’t necessarily have to provide you with cutting-edge features just to fill the shoes of its soon-to-be-departed disposable cousins.
Ease of Use
Score: 5 out of 5
As mentioned above, the IVG SAVR is remarkably easy to assemble and use. The numerous illustrated guides on how to put the components together are easy to follow in all formats, and once it’s up and running, it’s a pure draw-activation kit.
The IVG SAVR gets full marks for ease of use because it fully understands and appreciates this assignment. If IVG felt sacrificing some functionality in exchange for a universally approachable kit was a move worth making, I’m willing to trust their decisions.
Battery Life
Score: 3.5 out of 5
Now, some rougher stuff. One way IVG replicated that disposable vape feel is to give the SAVR the same battery capacity. The IVG SAVR has a 650mAh battery capacity, identical to that of several very popular disposable vapes.
It goes without saying that 650mAh is on the smaller end of the vape battery spectrum. And it certainly isn’t enough to get you through all 6ml of juice the kit comes with.
Now, that’s alright because the SAVR is, of course, rechargeable. Thanks to Type-C charging, the depleted kit won’t be out of action for long once you plug it in. In my experience, 650mAh batteries tend to be fully charged again in half an hour or less.
Still, IVG could have found a decent middle ground between the 650mAh and 1000mAh batteries included in the PRO kit. It loses a point and a half for power-pinching, though fast charging dampens the blow a little.
Flavour Output
Score: 5 out of 5

While battery life is a bit of a mixed bag, I have zero complaints about the flavour output of the IVG SAVR units. IVG proved they fully understood the bar salts assignment when they released their Bar Favourites line in 2024, and that understanding is fully evident here.
The SAVR range has 30 flavours, and I simply couldn’t try every single one for the purpose of this review! But of the 10 I’ve tried, three that really stood out were:
- Pineapple Ice
- Grape Ice
- Double Apple
Each of the SAVR flavours I’ve tried achieves the classic disposable balance of powerful but not overwhelming sweetness. The icy notes, when present, are very restrained and mostly serve to cleanse the palate rather than impact the flavour profile.
If you’re a fan of sweet fruit and beverage flavours, you will love the IVG SAVR.
Summary
The IVG SAVR Prefilled Kits are excellent and a perfect device for disposable fans to wean off before the UK ban this summer. The flavours are rich, the setup is easy, and the devices are convenient and easy to travel with.
I have a couple of misgivings about the battery capacity and lack of features being a bit too similar to their disposable influences, but if this helps people make the switch, then so be it!
The MIST Favourite Feature:
Setup Illustrations: When I realised some assembly was required, I gulped a bit. I’ve worked in vaping customer service and realised just how much help some people require. But in truth, the multiple assembly illustrations, the manual and the instructional QR code make the SAVR a kit that a total beginner will have no trouble with.
