Geekvape are a wildcard manufacturer! You never quite know whether their next kit will be a travel-friendly pod kit or a big, bulky, IP68-protected sub-ohm behemoth. Their latest release, the Digi Q Vista, is an odd duck and proud of it.

MIST’s Verdict
Review Summary: While the flat slab design may seem unusual to some, the wraparound screen is lovely and displays everything it needs to.
Review Disclosure: Geekvape has supplied me with the Digi Q Vista device, which I’ve been using for this review. With this in mind, I would like to emphasise that all my thoughts and opinions are my own and are not influenced by the brand.
Packaging and Labels
The Digi Q Vista arrives in a similar style of orange and silver box to other Geekvape kits. The front of the sleeve covering the box shows the kit to the left with the Geekvape logo above. A TPD health warning sits at the base of the sleeve’s face.
The back of the sleeve lists features and contents, as well as contact info for Geekvape and an authenticity QR code. Another TPD health warning rests at the bottom of the back.

Removing the sleeve reveals an orange card envelope that contains the user manual. Under this, we find the kit held in a plastic insert, with one Q cartridge already inserted but kept separated by a sticker that prevents electrical connection.
To the right, there is a spare Q cartridge and a small white box containing the USB-C cable, which you can use to charge the kit.
Build Quality
Score: 4.2 out of 5
The Digi Q Vista is pretty unique, I’ll give it that. It’s a relatively thin slab of lightweight alloy, with a large screen occupying most of the ‘face’ of the kit and also wrapping around to the button and lock sides of the device. The other side of the kit features the airflow slider.

The edges of the device are soft and rounded for added carrying comfort, and it doesn’t weigh too much to take out and about. And once again, the Q cartridges are a dream, delivering tasty vapour with easy refills.
The screen is interesting. Large and bright, the ‘face’ doesn’t seem to be a screen in the traditional sense, but rather an indicator of the power range the device is set to. It can glow green, blue, and red, depending on the wattage level, and most of the actual information is displayed on the smaller, curved screen under the button.
What we appreciate the most is the brand-new A-lock, which prevents accidental activation, especially when you have the device in your pocket or bag.

The side screen features bright LEDs that display your battery level and wattage setting.
The size, shape, and weight of the device are nicely balanced, making it very comfortable to use. The side screen is easy to read and displays all necessary information. While the main screen doesn’t deliver any vital information, it’s an eye-catching display that’s sure to spark a good conversation.
All in all, a very tidy and stylish package!
Performance
Score: 4.5 out of 5
In terms of function, the Digi Q Vista is a fun little device to get on with. It features both highly responsive draw-activation and a button for manual firing. This button is also used to adjust the wattage with three rapid taps. The LEDs indicating the wattage level are incredibly bright, so there’s no risk of setting it incorrectly.
I also really liked the inclusion and function of the lock switch, which allows for continued draw-puffs but deactivates the firing button entirely so you can’t accidentally fire it or change the wattage setting in your pocket. In my opinion, dedicated lock switches are always better and more reliable than multi-tap locking systems.

The Digi Q Vista can manage maximum outputs of 35W, although it features innovative technology that prevents you from setting a wattage too high for your chosen pod to handle. This is always a nice touch and ensures a lack of burned pods in the days ahead.
So, with easily adjusted wattage providing both MTL and RDL use, the Geekvape Digi Q Vista does a reasonably impressive job in terms of performance!
Ease of Use
Score: 4.5 out of 5
The Digi Q Vista is relatively simple to use, particularly with the aforementioned smart protections given to your pods and the draw activation.

Admittedly, some brand-new vapers may be unsure about wattage, how to set it, and what to set it to. Still, the Digi Q Vista isn’t marketed as a kit for absolute beginners, so this might be a case of worrying too much.
The Eco/Smart/Dynamic display system may initially confuse some vapers. Still, they’ll soon understand the colour changes to indicate how much intensity you’re putting into the coil in the pod.
Battery Life
Score: 4.8 out of 5
A 1600mAh battery is indeed very lovely! Particularly when considering the device’s low weight. With a maximum output of 35W, and pods that mostly suit outputs lower than that, the battery is likely to last a considerable while before requiring a recharge.
The fast charging speeds also ensure that the Digi Q Vista will never be out of action for an extended period. The changing colour on the main screen is also a good way of remembering how much power you’re using (green – low, blue – medium, red – high), and this is another valuable, quick visual aid to let you know how quickly you’re running it down.
Flavour Output
Score: 4.8 out of 5

Being compatible with the Q cartridges, the Digi Q Vista produces excellent heights of flavour. Geekvape’s pods are still some of the best in the game, and so you aren’t going to detect any impurities from the coil itself. Thanks to these coils, which are still brilliant, the Digi Q Vista has a fantastic grade of flavour output.
Summary
The Geekvape Digi Q Vista is an eye-catching device with great portability, a long-lasting battery, and brilliant flavour-carrying capabilities. While the flat slab design may seem unusual to some, the wraparound screen is lovely and displays everything it needs to.
The MIST Favourite Feature:
- Wrap Screen: The wraparound screen is very stylish, and I like the layout of the display system on the smaller part. Very informative and intuitive to use.
