Is the Pockex an MTL or DTL vape device?

The Aspire Pockex is a single-button e-cigarette that utilises the Aspire Pockex coil series, which are available at a resistance of 0.6ohm. This makes the Pockex a DTL vape, however; due to the Pockex’s airflow vents being situated at the top of the device, there’s nowhere for thinner e-liquids to escape to. As such, the Pockex can technically be used as an MTL device, however you may find PG-centric and 50/50 e-liquids quite harsh through the unit.

What is the wattage range for the Pockex?

The Aspire Pockex fires within a range of 18W - 23W, though as a single-button, screenless device it does not feature adjustable wattage. Many find that the Pockex fires at an enjoyably consistent rate, however those seeking more power options in a DTL cloud vape might enjoy the Voopoo DRAG S, a similarly snug device with plenty of firing power. Alternatively if looking for adjustable wattage in an MTL vape you can’t go wrong with an Innokin EZ.WATT.

My Pockex tank smashed; do I need to buy a new device?

By no means. The Aspire Pockex is considered an AIO (All In One) device, meaning that the ‘tank’ is actually just a detachable metal/glass chamber and not a separate product that you screw into the device. This can be of great benefit, as in the event of catastrophic glass breakage there’s no need to buy an expensive new tank or entire new vape device. Aspire Pockex Replacement Glass restores the metal and glass sections with startling ease and costs only £2.49. Just carefully pull the old chamber off, wipe the rubber connection with a rag or paper towel to ensure glass fragments are removed and firmly place the new glass. Done!
