Pod Salt is an e-liquid range that has always had its eye on the future of vaping. From the very beginning, they eschewed traditional freebase e-liquids and sought to produce the best nicotine salt e-liquids possible, combining rich flavours and affordable prices. These efforts paid off, with Pod Salt having received Best Nicotine Salt awards in 2019, 2021, and 2022.
Pod Salt is now unveiling new additions to its latest range, Pod Salt Nexus, which offers 25 different fruity flavours. Today, I’m going to sample each of the Pod Salt Nexus flavours and give you honest taste impressions of each one.
MIST’s Verdict
Review Summary: The Pod Salt Nexus nicotine salts are packed full of zesty flavour. There are some really bold and innovative taste blends on display that elevate the Pod Salt Nexus line above many other nicotine salt ranges.
Review Disclosure: Pod Salt were kind enough to supply me with the juices I’m trying for this review. However, despite this, my review will be honest and to the point. It’s worth remembering that taste is entirely subjective, and my distaste might be your desired flavour. All I can offer is my honest impression of each e-liquid flavour. With that established, let’s try some e-liquids!

Packaging and Labels
The packaging for the Pod Salt Nexus e-liquids resembles the tall boxes of disposable vape pens, lending credence to the idea that these juices are intended to be seen as bar salts that deliver disposable vape flavour levels.
The front of the tall, colourful boxes shows a picture of the bottle within. The flavour is listed beneath, along with the nicotine strength and a TPD-compliant health warning.
One side of the bottle shows another picture of the bottle, while the other side features a QR code that you can scan to check for authenticity, similar to what a disposable vape will often feature.
The back of the box features the usual ingredients list, though it’s more detailed than usual, with the flavouring listed individually.
Inside, the disposable likeness continues, as the bottles are sealed in pink plastic wraps that have to be torn open. The wrapping also contains a folded paper with refill instructions and health warnings.
Everything about the packaging suggests that the Pod Salt Nexus range is attempting to appeal to disposable vape users rather than cigarette smokers. A sign of the times, I suppose!

Blue Razz Cherry Blast
Score: 3/5
This juice carried a sweet and unexpectedly floral profile. There’s an upward swing of fruity sugar which is very enjoyable. I was expecting a slightly tarter kick from blue raspberry and cherry, though it’s a very session-friendly blend of flavours.
Lemon Lime Sorbet
Score: 4/5
This was really delicious, though I disagree with the name a bit. I expected icy and sherbert flavours from a sorbet, but instead, there was a noticeable buttery note.
The lime is a bit absent, but the lemon was very sweet and had a bit of a ‘curd’ taste to it. So while it wasn’t a citrus sorbet for me, it instead had a remarkably tasty lemon tart flavour!
Red Gummy Bear
Score: 4/5
Once again, this didn’t quite give me what it said on the bottle, but it was delicious nonetheless!
Red Gummy Bear has a lovely blend of mixed red fruits and candy flavour, but there’s just the faintest hint of sweet liquorice in there, too. To me, it carried the EXACT taste of red chewy laces, a classic pick-and-mix sweet. So, while the ‘gummy’ aspect was a bit absent, it still delivered a nostalgic delight.
Pink Purple Lemonade
Score: 3/5
This flavour had a powerfully fruity punch on the inhale, with a similar floral note found in Blue Razz Cherry Blast.
The actual lemonade notes are a bit too subtle for my taste, but there’s a lovely ‘fizz’ aspect that feels reminiscent of sherbert.
Mango Peach Strawberry
Score: 2/5
The peach flavour was powerful and sumptuous; however, the strawberry and mango notes got a bit lost in the bouquet. While it was a tasty juice overall, it would have been better just to focus on peach rather than a fruit medley.
Sour Blue Raspberry
Score: 4/5
This flavour eschewed the floral aspect in Blue Razz Cherry Blast to focus instead on a pure punch of raspberry tastes. It’s not quite as sour as some other blue raspberry vape juices, but that results in a more session-friendly nic salt that’s still got a lovely toothsome tart note.
Lime Raspberry Grapefruit
Score: 5/5
This was the first smash hit in the pile for me! The grapefruit and lime citrus notes blended perfectly, with the grapefruit allowed to take up the main focus, which it did with stunning confidence.
The raspberry note effectively grounded the grapefruit and lime, preventing the citrus aspects from becoming overpowering and keeping the overall flavour sweet and playful.
Orange Mango Lime
Score: 4/5
The orange flavour present here was very noticeable and zesty, with a lovely summery note that lent itself sell to the other tropical tastes. The mango flavour was more detectable than in Mango Peach Strawberry, with the lime providing a twist of zest that perfected the overall taste profile.
Rainbow Rainbow Rainbow
Score: 5/5
Now THIS is a candy vape! Ordinarily, when a candy vape juice is called ‘rainbow,’ you can guess which particular brand of chewy sweets it’s trying to convey.
And Rainbow Rainbow Rainbow does so perfectly, delivering a sweet mixed-fruit flavour accompanied by a candy taste that really reminds me of hard candy shells. This is probably the most accurate ‘rainbow’ candy vape juice I’ve ever tried, and I strongly advise that you taste this!
Sweet Tangerine Coconut
Score: 5/5
This flavour stood out to me immediately because it’s absolutely incredible. The mellow coconut notes take up the main focus, with a gorgeously creamy and sumptuous taste that perfectly wraps around the sweet citrus of the tangerine.
It’s a fantastic contrast of bold flavours that any fruity vape fan is guaranteed to adore. Without question, it is one of the best Pod Salt Nexus flavours I’ve tried for this review.
White Grape Cucumber Apple
Score: 4/5
The grape flavour was very natural in this e-liquid, a welcome change to the usually candied grape tastes you find in vape juices. The crisp apple juice flavour mixed excellently with the soft and watery cucumber taste, resulting in a super-mellow taste that was very easy to session for a long period of time.
White Gummy Bear
Score: 5/5
I was VERY keen to try this one as it won the 2023 Vaper Expo award for Best Unusual Flavour, and one puff later revealed why.
The taste is one of candied pineapple, brimming in sugary syrup and smashed by an avalanch of frosty ice! Definitely one of the colder Pod Salt Nexus juices, I found it to be an incredible moreish paradise puff, as sweet as it was refreshing. And the ice ensured no lingering sugary aftertaste.
If you’re going to try just one Pod Salt Nexus juice, make it White Gummy Bear!
Strawberry Banana Rhubarb
Score: 2/5
While I’d ordinarily love a blend of a creamy taste and rhubarb, banana is just too distinct to be paired with a sour fruit, in my opinion.
Fresh Raspberry Mojito
Score: 4/5
Usually, I’m not too fond of minty flavours, but Fresh Raspberry Mojito really hit a sweet spot for me.
The mint taste is very natural and herbal, with the raspberry notes keeping things light and casual without becoming too botanical. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this one, and I think any fan of minty vapes will adore Fresh Raspberry Mojito.
Blueberry Blackberry Lemonade
Score: 4/5
A great lemonade vape juice from the Nexus range. The subtle blueberry notes dance perfectly alongside the sweeter, jammy blackberry taste, with a delightful citrus soda backing elevating both berry flavours on a fizzing, lemony cloud.
Triple Raspberry Ice
Score: 4/5
As has been the case across several Pod Salt Nexus juices, the raspberry taste is quite restrained. This isn’t a negative comment, however, as it permits longer fruity vaping sessions without being overwhelmed with sugar.
The ice is exceptionally well-balanced, providing a frosty punch that elevates the berry taste while refreshing your taste buds.
Lemon Lime Cola
Score: 4/5
I love a cola vape, and this was no exception! The dark, sparkling soda notes back the entire flavour mix, with a zesty addition of fresh citrus adding a delightful sour kiss to the entire arrangement.
Just a bit of ice would have elevated this to a 5 out of 5 score, but as it stands, it is a delicious soda beverage vape juice.
Berry Lime Ice
Score: 5/5
Of all the juices tried today, this had the strongest lime flavour, not just a zest but a full-on smash of sour citrus goodness. The berry notes are a little hard to pin down but they do a great job of grounding the sour notes and preventing them from becoming too tart.
The ice was beautifully balanced as well, similar to White Gummy Bear but with a far more aggressive flavour.
Fuji Apple Peach
Score: 3/5
The apple flavour has a noticeable floral edge that really elevates the crisp juice flavour, and the powerful peach taste makes a very welcome return in this delectable blend of orchard fruits
Berry Lemon Ice
Score: 4/5
The lemon flavour has the characteristic sweet note I’ve come to expect from Pod Salt citrus tastes, with a strong mixed-berry note adding complexity to the overall flavour.
I think the ice could have been a little stronger, but it provides a neat palate cleanse with every exhale and helps the lemon and berry flavours stay distinct and session-friendly.
Strawberry Watermelon Kiwi
Score: 4/5
While the strawberry and kiwi notes were a little too light in my opinion, the watermelon flavour was lusciously sweet and strong. In fact, it left me wishing watermelon had been featured in more Pod Salt Nexus juices!
Grape Berry Burst
Score: 2/5
The grape flavour is sweet, with a delicious natural edge. I was hoping that the mixed berries flavour deliver an equally tasty pairing for the admittedly excellent grape flavour.
Pineapple Passion Lime
Score: 5/5
While the passion fruit is a little hard to detect amidst the lime zest, the citrus and pineapple blend perfectly. Pod Salt Nexus definitely has pineapple mastered, with this juice delivering all-around bliss that’s sweet, sour, and oh so satisfying.
Pear Apple Raspberry
Score: 4/5
The raspberry is, once again, a bit restrained. But in this instance that prevents it from overpowering the orchard fruits, with the delicious pear flavour taking centre-stage and apple providing a delightfully crisp back note.
Sweet Strawberry Lemonade
Score: 5/5
Easily the best strawberry flavour in the range! The strawberry taste is juicy, rich, and summery, and provides the perfect sweet accompaniment to the sparkling citrus soda sourness.
A wonderful contrast of tangy and sugary fruity flavours, and a great juice to finish this roundup with!
Throat Hit
Score: 4/5
The Pod Salt Nexus vape juices have a very comfortable through hit, due to all of them utilising nicotine salts, which lower the alkalinity of e-liquid. Fruity flavours are ordinarily safe for those who want to avoid a strong throat hit.
Those who do want a bit of a throat kick should opt for one of the frostier flavours, such as White Gummy Bear and Berry Lime Ice.
Vapour Production
Score: 4/5
The e-liquids produce a reasonable amount of vapour, which is to be expected from a 50VG/50PG mix ratio. However, they do have a certain volume, which may be linked to the flavourings used or the bar salt composition of most of the juices.
Summary
The Pod Salt Nexus range of nicotine salts is packed full of fresh fruity flavours! Despite the minor shortcomings in some flavour pairings, the standout juices were some of the most memorable I’ve tried in months, and I’m confident that anyone switching over from disposables or just looking for a new favourite nic salt range will love the Pod Salt Nexus offerings!
The MIST Favourite:
Sweet Tangerine Coconut
While I was impressed with White Gummy Bear, Sweet Tangerine Coconut was incredibly bold and unique in its composition. The mellow coconut and juicy citrus notes blended perfectly, and I’ll definitely be vaping this flavour in the coming days!
